Corvette P/S Kit, 1967-82 SBC/SWP with factory Manual Steering. Power steering conversion kit for a 67-82 Corvette with factory manual steering, SBC/SWP. This kit includes P/S conversion box, P/S pump, P/S Hoses, P/S Pump Bracket, P/S Pulley and Rag Joint connector. Borgeson offers a modern integral power steering conversion for your 63-82 corvette.

The Borgeson steering box represents the latest generation of integral power steering gearbox technology with true modern feel, feedback and a quick 12.7:1 ratio. Borgeson has manufactured this box to bolt to the factory mounting location and fit the stock pitman arm.

The factory column will need to be shortened 2.5 for this conversion kit to work. Note factory power steering cars will require drag link adapter #990002 or manual steering linkage.

67-82 cars have a factory collapsible column. Gently tap on the splined column shaft with a rubber mallet to collapse in on itself for the needed 2.5 of clearance.

Column will then connect to conversion box with supplied rag joint.
