This convertible top manual latch system was removed from a 1995 318i. Fits all E36 convertible models through 1999. Convert your electrically controlled top to manually operated.

The kit includes every component and fastener from the donor car, minus the upper trim panel, which was broken and not functional. The PN of this cover is. 54 31 8 169 870. Included in this offering are the following parts.

Manual dual front latch bracket assembly, control handle, and hardware (mounts to the convertible top to secure it to the area above the windshield). Manual rear latch with plastic bezel, cable, and hardware (mounts behind the left rear interior panel and you will need to cut a hole in your panel). All the cables and latches that install beneath the folding top compartment lid, and all related hardware. Mounting clips, and wiring (sensor wires and power for the actuator). Wiring was cut at the main harness in the front left portion of the trunk. The latches and cables are laid out in the lead photo in the approximate proximity to their actual mounting locations relative to each other. Loose hardware is grouped together for display purposes. Everything is in good working condition. The convertible top was opened and closed on the car prior disassembly. All components were carefully removed without causing and damages.
