Everything you need to convert Auto Hubs on a Patrol to Manual Hubs. And now with a pair of snap rings. 1 pr GQ Manual Hubs (Fit all GU Patrols with the following parts). 1pr Inner drive gear spacer rings (They look like egg rings). 1pr drive gear seat (drive gear sits in this).

1pr drive gears (sit inside the hub and slides over the CV shaft). 12 x hi tensile cap screw bolts.

1pr reinforcing hub rings (not required for the conversion but they are a bonus). Comes with easy to follow instructions with lots of pictures. Anyone can do it and you dont even have to lift the wheel off the ground. These hubs suit the following applications. Nissan GQ Patrol all models - direct replacement.

Ford Maverick all models except F100 Bronco style Mavericks. Nissan GU Patrol all models - ideal conversion from auto to manual. OK so all Nissan Patrols from 1987 to 2013.

Auto hubs can be a real pain - they are known to not lock in when you need them. They are known not to unlock on the highway and you can feel front tailshaft vibrations when it should be sitting idle. And auto hubs are not known for their strength and when they break they are expensive to fix.

This kit is totally complete and you dont need anything else. You dont need any parts from your old hubs either. You dont have to touch the gear box or transfer case - just change the hubs over and that's all that needs to be done.

If you already have old manual hubs and you want to freshen up then this kit still fits but you wont need the spacer rings (egg rings). When you sell so may of these you get to know what people have and need.

We have now improved the kit and include a pr of snap rings. These hold the drive gear into the bearing area and prevent it from drifting out into the hub and engaging. The CV's axle shaft already has the groove the snap ring snaps into. And it's in the instructions.

This kit comes with a complimentary pr of stainless steel reinforcing rings. In extreme conditions a hub could break (any brand or type) typically when a fast free spinning wheel lands on the ground - that is extreme force. Bolts are long and the heads are some 2 inches out from the base of the hub. The stainless steel ring braces the bolt heads to each other significantly resisting the tendancy for the side of the hub to break away. It's not that these hubs need these - I sell these strengthening rings on their own too for people who already have old hubs on their car and this is the most popular model hub by a mile and so it was fitting to start with a strengthening kit for Patrols before we venture into Landcruisers. The hubs are totally complete, brand new and in perfect condition. I source the best components from various hub manufacturers around the world and further improve them where possible. May I suggest that when you fit them, 1 drop of lock tight on each of the big bolts will make sure they never work loose over time. Fitting should only take about 5 minutes each.
